Overcompensation Injuries
Overcompensation injuries occur as the body tends to be more gentle towards the injured area (for example the right foot) so the stronger 'left' side carries the load. This of course, can lead to serious problems seen in the muscles, ligament & tendons (in fact, all body parts) on the left hand side of the body, due to an unusual increase in strain and pressure.
Overpronation.
If you are experiencing pain or limitations in the big toe or ankle, the foot can start to collapse to overcompensate for the pain in those areas, with increase strain now on the shins, knees, and thighs which rotate inwards with the increased pressure
So how do i prevent this from happening?
